Getting to Know More About Our Staff

Mekeesha Price
Mekeesha joined our practice in January of 2003 and is helping to improve client education, staff training and customer service. Mekeesha has a full schedule spending most of her two teenagers and her husband of 16 years. She also loves to help wherever she can with her friends. In her down time, care for 4 rescue pets: Mandy and Stanley, who are felines; and Jaci and Jeffery, her canine friends.
Carly Fryer
Carly joined Client Care in January 2005. Carly's interested outside of the practice include training service dogs to assist disabled people, volunteering, riding horses, and reading. She shares her life with her dog Luca Bleue (a GSP/Border Collie cross), two cats- Azi and Ronan- and her horse- Poco.

Angela Dennis
Angela joined MAH Outpatient staff in June of 2004. She enjoys spending time with her daughters, her husband, and being outdoors (skiing, snowmobiling, and camping). Angie has one dog, Kandie.

Stacey Nelson
Stacey is a Client Care Representative here at McKenzie Animal Hospital. She joined our team in September of 2010. Stacey enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her puppy Moose, a 2 year old boxer. She also enjoys travelling, golfing, bowling, card games, riding ATV's and taking photo's.

Erika Boyers
Erika joined our Client Care staff in June 2011, coming to us with 6 years experience in the veterinary field in southern Oregon. Erika was born and raised in southern Oregon, moving to Eugene in March 2010. In her spare time Erika enjoys being outside, whether playing sports, riding her horse, enjoying time with family, friends and her 4-legged kids. Her pet include: a lab-mix named Ruger; Steve, a short hair bron tabby; Montanta, a paint quarterhorse.

Maree Tucker
Maree joined our practice in March 1995 and has worked in veterinary medicine for more than 20 years, currenly serving as our Pharmacy Technician. Maree brightens our day with her ready smile and cheerful manner. She is patient and helpful with clients and their pets in her position in Outpatient care. Maree is always happy to help you with any questions you may have. When she lived on a small farm, Maree cared for over 30 cats, 7 dogs and her favorite family milk cow. She now spends most of her free time helping her daughter and son-in-law care for their 5 children and enjoys sewing, painting, beading, and church. They all love their 10 month old golden retreiver/border collie mix, Nemesis.

Valerie Yeoman
Valerie has recently joined out client care staff in June 2007. She has interests in reading, running, and of course, her pets! She has a Welsh Corgi, Fiadora; and a multi-colored kitty named Colette. Valerie grew up in Alabama, moved to Beaverton, only to have wound up at the University of Oregon.

Naomi Minnick
Naomi joined McKenzie Animal Hospital in July of 2008. On her days off she enjoys helping other horse owener with training and lessons. Naomi is an avid competitor in barrel racing, jumping, English pleasure with her horse, Four. She also enjoys riding quads, shooting rifles, and being outside. Noami has a small female dog named Copper, a puppy named River, and a 13 year old gelding named Four.

Roland Lefebvre
Roland Lefebvre is an Outpatient Technician at McKenzie Animal Hospital. He joined McKenzie Animal Hospital in August 2010. He is originally from the east coast, having spent most of his life in Massachusetts. He attended Miami University of Ohio, where he received a B.S. in Zoology. He then spent two years teaching in Morocco before joining the staff at McKenzie. He hopes to attend veterinary school in the near future. Roland is happily married to his wife, Beth, and is a loving pet owner to Zwayna, his three year old Yorkshire Terrier. He is also an active member of the pet community and is part of the Lane County Animals in Disaster Team. Roland’s hobbies, when he’s not at work, include hiking, climbing, snowboarding and really anything else that occurs in the great outdoors.
Alyssa Price
Alyssa, Outpatient Technician, joined McKenzie Animal Hospital in February of 2008. She loves spending time with her two dogs Chump, and Garth and her fiancé John. She enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting or anything else that gets her outside. Alyssa recently moved to Pennsylvania for six months but returned not only to McKenzie but to her family and friends.
Kristen Krogel
Kristen joined the Outpatient staff in October 2011, after graduating from Oregon State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science and a minor in Spanish. Kristen is the proud owner of a golden retreiver, Bendigo; one cat, Flash; and one horse, Jazmine. In her spare time she enjoys long distance running, riding in the Cascades, hiking, biking, swimming, and other outdoor pursuits.
Veterinary Technicians

Ronnie Connell, CVT
Ronnie, our senior technician, is highly skilled in anesthesia and dentistry and coordinates the Inpatient dental services. Ronnie began volunteering at a veterinary clinic straight out of high school. She studied animal science at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and received her Associate of Science degree in Animal Health Technology from Foot Hills College. Ronnie earned her technician certification in 1981. Ronnie and her husband Kurt are the Invisible Fence dealers in the area. They live with their three children and golden retriever Macy, two cats and a rabbit in Pleasant Hill.

Nicole Miller, CVT
Nicky has worked her way up from an entry level assistant position to a valued certified veterinary technician and managed this while working full-time and raising her son, Tristan. Nicky has elevated the level of patient care and is attentive, gentle and caring with all her patients. Nicky has two cats, Drake and Theodore.

Pam Kinkade, AHT
Pam is an Oregon Native from Coos Bay. She received her training at Northwest College for Veterinary Technicians in 1975 and has practiced her profession for over 29 years. Pam worked for a veterinary practice in North Bend for 21 years before moving to Springfield in 1996 with her husband and daughter. Pam is in charge of our fully equipped hospital laboratory and loves working with patients and clients. Pam lost her rooster, Walter, but also Pugs have a special place in her heart. In her free time, Pam enjoys biking, walking and gardening.
Inpatient Care
Getting to Know More About Our Staff

Michelle Bales
Michelle joined our inpatient staff as a Vet Tech Assistant in October 2006. She enjoyes camping, fostering kittens, and her 55 gallon fish tank. Michelle is the proud owener of 10 cats: Cooter, Dundee, Wee One, Bb, Tug, Romeo, Oreo, Honey Girl, Tigger, and Barn Kitty.

Heather Cameron
Heather joined the staff in September, 2007, and is a valuable assistant to our Veterinary Technicians. Heather is the loving owner of her horse, Oprah, and her cat, Pippi. Outside of the hospital, her interests include drawing, writing, and exercising.

Heather Richner
Heather R. is an Inpatient Technician Assistant here at McKenzie Animal Hospital. She joined our practice in April of 2010. Heather graduated from Linn-Benton Community College with a Veterinary Assistant Certificate in 2009, she is working towards becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician. Heather is a loving pet owner to her dogs Toby a Pomerat and Champ an Australian Shepherd, and her cats Paco, Rocky, and Mama Kitty. Heather's interests outside of work include hiking, traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Réyme Williams
Réyme joined McKenzie Animal Hospital's Inpatient staff in June 2011, as a veterinary tech assistant. Réyme is a loving pet owner to her dog, Sadie May. Her interests outside of the clinic are cheerleading and anything outdoors such as hunting, fishing, camping, quad & snowmobile riding.

Janna Moskovitz, AHT
Office Manager
Janna is our longest serving staff member. As Office Manager, Janna keeps the hospital running smoothly and helps everyone's work go easier. She is in charge of the practice management software and hardware systems and book keeping. Janna spends her free time with her family, friends and her menagerie of turtles, fish, dogs and cats.

Libby Kramer
Practice Manager
Libby has 17 years experience in veterinary medicine starting out as a veterinary assistant in Ohio in 1993. She joined our staff in November 2004 after moving to Oregon from Ohio. Libby started to manage here at McKenzie animal Hospital in 2006 and passed the national exam to become a Certified Veternary Practice Manager in September of 2009. She is now working on a Bachelors Degree in business management. Libby is a loving pet owner to her Border Collie, Tucker, who loves to run, jump and travels everywhere with her. Libby's interests include fishing, hiking, camping, and just being outside.
